Frequently asked questions
Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. PDFSpry merges the selected PDFs locally in your browser. Your documents are not uploaded for processing, and the merged file is created on your device.
What is the file size limit?
Each PDF can be up to 100 MB, and all selected files together can be up to 200 MB.
Does merging reduce PDF quality?
Merging copies the existing pages into a new document. PDFSpry doesn't convert pages to images or re-compress them while merging, so text and images stay as they were.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not yet. Remove the password from the PDF first, then add it to PDFSpry.
Can I use PDFSpry on mobile?
Yes, it works in modern mobile browsers. Because files are processed on your device, very large PDFs can need a lot of memory and may be slow on older phones.
