Terms of use

Plain terms for using PDFSpry. They are not legal advice and are not written for any particular country's law.

The service

PDFSpry is provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranties of any kind. By using the tools you accept these terms.

Your documents are your responsibility

You are responsible for the files you process and for the results you download. Only use PDFSpry with documents you own or otherwise have permission to process, and make sure you are allowed to modify them.

Keep your originals

Tools produce a new file and never change the file you selected, but browsers can run out of memory and downloads can fail. Keep the originals and your own backups of anything important. PDFSpry does not store your documents, so a lost result cannot be recovered by us.

Availability and limitations

We do not guarantee that PDFSpry is always available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and the tools may change or be withdrawn.

  • The tools need a modern browser; older browsers and restricted environments may not work.
  • Processing happens on your device, so speed and the largest document you can handle depend on that device. A single file can be up to 100 MB.
  • Some documents cannot be processed — for example password-protected or damaged PDFs.

Acceptable use

Do not use PDFSpry for anything unlawful, to infringe someone else's rights, or to attack, overload or interfere with the site or the people using it.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, PDFSpry is not liable for lost data, lost documents or other damages arising from use of the tools. See the privacy page for how your documents are handled, or write to support@pdfspry.com with questions.
