Frequently asked questions

Are my PDF files uploaded?

No. PDFSpry adds the watermark locally in your browser. Your document is not uploaded for processing, and the watermarked file is created on your device.

Can I watermark only selected pages?

Yes. Choose Selected pages and enter pages or ranges such as 1,3,5-7. All other pages stay exactly as they are.

Can I change watermark opacity and size?

Yes. Choose Light, Medium or Strong opacity and Small, Medium or Large text, then place it in the center or in a corner or edge of the page.

Can I rotate the watermark?

Yes. The watermark can run horizontally or diagonally at 45° up or down. It follows the page as you see it, even on pages that are already rotated.

Does adding a watermark reduce PDF quality?

No. PDFSpry adds the watermark as text on top of each page and doesn't convert pages to images, so existing content keeps its quality. You can watermark one PDF of up to 100 MB at a time.
